Tickets are now on sale for the United Kingdom’s only conference organized by horse veterinarians for horse veterinarians. The 2017 British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) Congress, taking place Sept. 13-16, will be hosting a line-up of practitioner-friendly speakers, extensive career professional development (CPD), quality science, and novel demonstrations at Liverpool Arena Convention Centre, in England, this year.

The Congress will also celebrate the realities of being a horse vet and show that the effects of Murphy’s Law (“anything that can go wrong, will go wrong”) can be reduced if we adopt some simple procedures. All this, together with the exclusive social engagements for which Congress is famed, means that Europe’s largest equine veterinary conference looks set to be better than ever.

The BEVA Congress will be held at Liverpool’s Arena Convention Centre. The event attracts more than 1,200 equine and mixed veterinarians each year, as well as hundreds of veterinary nurses, practice managers, students, farriers, physiotherapists, and equine dental technicians.

A substantial clinical research program covers the latest in equine veterinary science. Running concurrently are themed lectures, workshops, and demonstrations to cater for all levels of interest and expertise. Discussions at the end of sessions will aim to highlight that things can and do go wrong and show that, by taking joint responsibility and revising processes, problems can be reduced
