Texas Woman Pleads in Horse Herd Removal Case

A Texas woman has pleaded guilty to a charge connected to the removal of nearly 30 horses from her horseback riding business near Galveston.

On Jan. 22 law enforcement personnel removed 28 horses from S-n-G Horseback Riding, all of which were allegedly maltreated, said Sergeant Joel Caldwell of the Galveston Police Department’s Animal Services Unit.

The removed horses were placed in the care of Habitat for Horses, a rescue facility in Hitchcock, Texas.

Authorities later charged S-n-G Horseback Riding owner Terri Glenn with one count of cruelty to livestock animals
