The Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event returns to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington this week (April 26-29), and two area equine hospitals will be presenting veterinary lectures, demonstrations, and tours for spectators looking to get some information during their visit. Both Hagyard Equine Medical Institute and Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital will host special events during the competition.

Hagyard Equine Medical Institute will offer three lectures and a demonstration at no charge between April 26 and 28.

The lectures will offer information pertaining to sport horses and their specific health challenges. A demonstration on large animal emergency response techniques will provide horse owners with an understanding of safe and efficient procedures to be used when faced with dangerous situations.

All events will take place on Kentucky Horse Park grounds, with the lectures being held inside the Hagyard Equine Medical Institute tent located near the Sheila Johnson Arena. The demonstration will take place inside the Walnut Arena.
