Stolen Georgia Thoroughbred Found

The second of two horses stolen from a McDonough, Georgia, pasture has been found.

On Sept. 21, Buddy, a 14-year-old Quarter Horse, and Henry, a 23-year-old retired Thoroughbred racehorse, were reported missing by their owner Rachel Moore. An investigation revealed that a section of horses’ pasture fence had been cut, and investigators believe both horses were loaded into a waiting trailer.

On Sept. 23 Moore recovered Buddy in South Carolina after receiving a call from an area horse owner, but Henry remained missing.

On Sept. 25 Henry was found in a North Georgia pasture more than 140 miles away from where he was allegedly stolen
