The schedule for the 2014 University of Kentucky (UK) Department of Veterinary Science Diagnostic and Research Seminar Series at the UK Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory kicks off Thursday, Jan. 30, with two speakers discussing inflammatory airway disease (the full schedule is available below).

Laurent Couetil, DVM, PhD, professor at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine, and Jean-Pierre Lavoie, DMV, professor at the University of Montreal will speak from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

All seminars, except the showcase, short course, and October symposium, are free. The showcase and short course on Feb. 7 and 8 are held at the Four Points by Sheraton in Lexington, Ky.

The seminar series is co-sponsored by Boehringer-Ingelheim, Kentucky Association of Equine Practitioners (KAEP), TheHorse.com, and UK Ag Equine Programs. The series is hosted by the UK Gluck Equine Research Center and the UKVDL
