Arizona authorities are seeking those responsible for apparently abandoning a malnourished horse found wandering in a remote area in Maricopa County.

Detective Doug Matteson, public information officer for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, said deputies responded to a tip reporting that a malnourished horse was wandering the Palo Verde area in southwest Maricopa County on July 18.
