An Iowa man has pleaded guilty to shooting three horses while they grazed in their Johnson County, Iowa, pasture.

Court records say that last year Ryan Lee Grafft shot at least three horses. A Johnson County Sheriff’s Department representative said one horse was killed and two other were injured in the incident.

Grafft was subsequently arrested and charged with three counts of livestock abuse, one count of reckless use of a firearm with property damage, one count of criminal mischief, and one count of reckless use of a firearm with serious injury.
