Breyer will unveil the gray American Quarter Horse model named Smokin' Hot Chic at QuarterFest, where it will be sold exclusively. Special pricing for all American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) members will be offered for the Breyer horse.

QuarterFest youth activities will include making mop ponies in the Mop Pony Parlor, throwing horse shoes at the Horseshoeapalooza, making trail mix at the Trail Mix Fix, painting Stablemates with Breyer, taking pictures with Two Bits, testing out a saddle at Sit a Saddle, throwing a loop at the Roping Range, and taking part in the QuarterFest scavenger hunt.

QuarterFest will also offer first-time riding lessons taught by Christy Landwehr of Aurora, Colo. Landwehr is the executive director of the Certified Horsemanship Association. Riders ages 6 through 16 can take their first riding lesson May 1 or 2. The cost of the lesson is $15. Riders do not need to bring horses, as they will work with Middle Tennessee State University school horses
