Penn Extension Offers 'Hidden Hazards' Owner Seminar

The University of Pennsylvania Extension Equine is offering "Hidden Hazards," an equine health seminar for horse owners.

Planned topics include:

  • Are you stressing out your horse?
  • Can your feeding program put your horse at risk?
  • Danger in the grass: Hidden hazards in pastures and hay
  • Tick and insect borne diseases

The event will take place April 17, 2014, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Best Western Plus Lehigh Valley Hotel and Conference Center in Bethlehem, Pa.  For registration materials, contact Norma Young at njy@psu.edu or visit the Penn State Extension website.
