Equine Guelph to Host Healthy, Happy Horse Workshop

Equine Guelph, the horse owners’ and care givers’ center at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, will be hosting a "Healthy, Happy Horses" workshop, sponsored by Credit Valley Conservation and Equine Erin, on Feb. 23 and March 2, 2013.

According to a brochure on Equine Guelph’s website, the workshop will feature hands-on educational sessions on topics including:

  • Pasture and manure management;
  • Horse health checks;
  • Hoof care; and
  • Sustainable equine practices.

The workshop costs $75 (plus HST) to attend, and the fee includes both days with practical clinics, a hot lunch on both days, and all workshop materials.
