Tickets are now on sale for Rock To Ride presented by Alpha Natural Resources at HorseAidLive.org. The concert will be held Aug. 27 in Paddock Park at the Red Mile Race Track, in Lexington, Ky. Gates open at 5 p.m. and bands start at 6 p.m. Parking is free in the Red Mile Race Track lot. All proceeds benefit Horse Aid Live.

Horse Aid Live, Inc. is a 501(C)3 charitable fundraising organization that provides horse enthusiasts, horse industries, and supporters of all equine breeds a way to give to one entity, which then distributes annual grants to other recognized 501(c)3 organizations throughout the United States that retrain, retire, rehabilitate, or shelter horses-essentially the United Way for horses.

Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 cash at the door. VIP tickets are $60 in advance or $75 cash at the door. Group ticket prices are available when purchasing more than 10. Several packages are also offered online that mix VIP and general admission ticket. Blankets or folding chairs are welcome, but no outside food or beverages may be brought into the event.

In July, Lexington radio station WKQQ announced its media partnership and support for the event
