A herd of allegedly maltreated Thoroughbred horses is in rehabilitative care after Sheriff’s Department personnel in Crook County, Ore., seized the property on which they were residing.

Neglected Thoroughbreds

Dozens of allegedly maltreated Thoroughbred horses are receiving rehabilitative care after the property on which they resided was seized by the Crook Co. Sheriff’s Department.

"As the investigation progressed, detectives compiled information and photographs that showed there was reason to believe the horses were not receiving the required care as dictated by state law," Savage said
