American Farriers Journal is accepting nominations for the International Equine Veterinarians Hall of Fame’s class of 2001.

The Hall of Fame was established by American Farriers Journal in 1997, to recognize veterinarians who have contributed to knowledge and recognition of proper hoof care for horses. Inductees are chosen by current Hall of Fame members as well as members of the International Horseshoeing Hall of Fame (sponsored by American Farriers Journal and the Kentucky Derby Museum).

Veterinarians are considered in two categories; practicing equine vets who work closely with farriers on a daily basis, and college or industry equine vets involved in teaching, research or other important aspects of hoof care.

To nominate a veterinarian to the Hall of Fame, send the nominee’s name, address, phone number, background and biographical information and relevant stories and notes to American Farriers Journal, Attn: Hall of Fame, P.O. Box 624, Brookfield, WI 53008-0624. Or fax it to (262) 782-1252 or e-mail it to: info@lesspub.com. Please include your own phone number in case more information is needed. The deadline for receiving nominations is Feb. 1, 2001
