North Carolina law enforcement authorities hope the public can help find seven horses taken from a leased property in Forsyth County.

Forsyth County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Brad Stanley said that on April 29, the horses’ owner reported the animals stolen from the property, along with another 80 tack items, including saddles.

“The owner of the property was being evicted and the horses’ owner had until May 10 to move the animals,” Stanley said. “When the horses’ owner, who leased the property, went there to relocate the horses, the horses and the tack items were gone.”

In addition to filing a police report, the horses’ owner posted the presumably stolen the Stolen Horse International website. According to the listing, the missing horses include mares and geldings ranging in age from 4 to 13 years.
