First Definite Entries Confirmed for Alltech FEI WEG 2014

Entries for dressage, para-dressage, reining, endurance, and eventing have been announced. Entries for jumping, driving, and vaulting will be announced next week.

Definite entries for dressage, para-dressage, reining, endurance, and eventing—which take place over the first week of competition at the Alltech Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) World Equestrian Games (WEG) 2014 in Normandy, France—have now been finalized.

The number of entries is exceptionally high and breaks the previous participation records, the FEI said. Dressage, endurance, and reining entries have all increased from the record numbers set for these disciplines at the FEI World Equestrian Games 2006 in Aachen, Germany, while para-dressage and eventing have gone up from their previous high at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010 in Lexington, Kentucky.
