Beginning in 2012, an important addition will be made to the criteria for the America’s Horse Cares grant program. The AHC grant program supplies funding for therapeutic horseback riding facilities that provide equine assisted activities and therapy.

The new criteria for the AHC grant program will offer funding for continuing education of instructors, therapists, employees or volunteers of eligible facilities. In the past, the AHC grant program solely provided scholarship and equipment funding requests.
