Three rabid skunks already have been confirmed in Campbell County, Wyoming, so far this year. Ken Mills, a University of Wyoming veterinary professor, says Campbell County is the only Wyoming county with confirmed rabies cases this year.

Mills says Campbell County has consistent numbers of rabies cases from year to year. Last year, those cases included a horse that tested positive for the virus.
