Champion Sprinter Lost in the Fog Euthanatized

Lost in the Fog, last year's Eclipse Award-winning sprinter, was euthanatized Sunday, Sept. 17, three weeks after doctors found three cancerous tumors in his spleen and along his back.

The charismatic champion began his career with 10 consecutive victories, a streak that was broken when he finished unplaced in the 2005 TVG Breeders' Cup Sprint at Belmont Park.
