In the second annual event sponsored by the Bureau of Land Management, the USDA Forest Service, and the Central Oregon Wild Horse Coalition (COWHC), nine mustangs gathered from eastern Oregon public lands will be offered for adoption on Sept. 18. The horses will be available for a minimum bid of $125 to qualified adopters after two days of gentling.
