LNJ Foxwoods Establishes Fund to Assist Mercer County Horses

Thoroughbred Charities of America (TCA) has announced that LNJ Foxwoods has established a fund to benefit the abandoned horses in Mercer County, Kentucky.

The “Horses First Fund” will be administered by TCA and will provide for any immediate needs of the horses as well as provide emergency aid for horses in need in the future.

“As soon as we heard about the situation in Mercer County we knew we wanted to help,” said Jaime Roth, owner of LNJ Foxwoods. “TCA is in contact with the volunteers on the farm and they continue to relay their on-farm needs to us. We hope others contribute to this fund that will assist horses in need now and in the future.”

Erin Crady, executive director of TCA, added, “The Roths’ commitment to Thoroughbred welfare is second to none. We are so grateful to them for the establishment of the Horses First Fund and their unwavering commitment to Thoroughbreds
