CSU Equine Reproduction Lab Receives $3 million Gift

An Arizona couple has donated $3 million to the Colorado State University (CSU) Equine Reproduction Laboratory (ERL), according to release on Today @ Colorado State.

Arabian horse breeders Bud and Jo Adams donated the funds to support teaching, research, and clinical services at the laboratory.

This is the second such gift from Bud Adams, the release reported: He, along with his late first wife Louise, donated a barn and arena complex worth more than $1 million, now known as the Adams-Atkinson Arena.

“Through the years, I’ve had a good relationship with the people at Colorado State University,” Bud Adams said in the release. “Jim Voss (DVM) and Bill Pickett (PhD) were very helpful in my horse business. Now I’m retired, and I want to make up for some of the things that CSU did for me—to do them and other people a lot of good
