Tom Keene is an agronomy specialist with the University of Kentucky (UK) with a focus on hay marketing and production and equine pasture evaluation. He works closely with agents and producers to help harvest, package, store, test, transport, and sell high-quality hay in the state of Kentucky. He is currently working to facilitate and implement the new UK Equine Pasture Evaluation Program. He’s a past president of the American Forage and Grassland Council and the National Forage Testing Association. He also previously served as a Kentucky Forage and Grassland Council board member.
