Trained by Kathy Jarvis for AFM Stables, Slippin’ Around died April 19 in the receiving barn at Mountaineer, located in Chester, W.Va. Slippin’ Around had been scheduled to race in the ninth race that night, a $5,000 claiming event. The death was not promptly reported to the stewards.
