a show mare at age 6 was diagnosed--resulted from training stress. Omeprazole did the trick.

Mine has not. Four of my trainer's horses have ulcers. I have changed trainners for this reason.

ulcer aid in his feed (2x/day) seems to keep gassy colic symptoms at bay for the most part.
