Wild Horse Adoption Planned in Jackson

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management and the Teton Back Country Horsemen are hosting a wild horse adoption in Jackson, Wyo., later this month.

The adoption is scheduled for June 27-28 at the Teton County Fairgrounds.

The BLM says 15 saddle and halter-started horses, 15 yearlings and five burros will be up for adoption on June 28.

Registration, a packing demonstration, clinics and a barbecue for preapproved adopters are planned June 27.
