Saddlebred.com has a new and valuable feature titled, “Saddle Up a Saddlebred,” which allows anyone interested in seeing, riding, or learning more about Saddlebreds to enter their zip code and find a number of stables within a 300-mile radius.

The feature can be accessed by visiting www.saddlebred.com and clicking on “About the Breed,” then “Stable Search,” or simply type in www.saddlebred.com/breed/stables.php

Right now, there are approximately 400 Saddlebred farms and stables in the database for the search. Farms and stables can be added and updated by e-mailing saddlebred@asha.net.

When a zip code is entered, the feature loads a list of stables and farms within a 300-mile radius and it will include the name, address, city, state, zip, contact person, phone number, web site address, and e-mail address. Also, it will give an approximate distance to the stable from the entered zip code and will provide a link to find the stable on a Google Map. It is important to note that distances are approximate, and greater distances may be more inaccurate; it is based on a GPS satellite system. Those looking for a specific barn should call for the exact location and directions
