TheHorse.com blogger and author, Jennifer Bryant, returns to cover the equestrian events during 2012 Olympics from London, England. Her blog, "London 2012 Olympics: Equestrian Coverage," launched this week on TheHorse.com and will deliver on-the-scene news before and during the London Games.

Initial entries will cover the events leading up to the Games as riders vie for a spot on the Olympic team. Frequent posts will continue throughout the equestrian competition made up of three disciplines–dressage, eventing, and jumping–and will focus on the veterinary aspects of the Games.

Jennifer Bryant, of West Chester, Pa., has been a full-time freelancer since 1998, during which time she has edited one magazine (USDF Connection), authored or co-authored three books (Olympic Equestrian: A Century of International Horse Sport; A Gymnastic Riding System Using Mind, Body & Spirit; and The USDF Guide to Dressage), written numerous articles, and edited several books. Bryant is a former editor of Dressage & CT magazine and of the regional all-breed publication Hoof Print. A longtime dressage enthusiast and horse owner, Bryant is a United States Dressage Federation silver medalist.

"I love London (if you couldn’t tell). I love horses," says Bryant in her first blog post. "I’m a longtime rider and horse owner who’s ridden and competed in all three of the Olympic equestrian disciplines: jumping, eventing, and dressage (albeit not quite at those lofty levels). And I love the Olympics
